The Shutter Club is a collaboration between Steve Bridgwood (the photo guy) and Stefan Remneson (the video guy). We met on the wedding circuit many years ago and have since become firm friends, bonding over our shared love of travel, alternative music and crazy nights out in Manchester.

After both having achieved incredible individual success shooting weddings all over the world, we knew that we wanted to bring the same sense of style, creativity and impact that we have both become renowned for within the wedding industry to the commercial world.

Meet Steve

​

I've always had a huge interest in film production and cinematography, and in another life would have loved to have worked in the movie industry but behind the camera of course - directing the shots! I've always aimed to bring the same sense of story telling that you see in film to my own photography, I never take a shot that isn't needed. I believe that every photo needs to be able to stand on its own to convey a message or feeling.

I travel throughout the UK and overseas for my work and I am a recommended photographer for many of the UK's leading wedding and event venues. My work has been featured in many regional, national and international media, blogs and magazines including The Times, Channel 4, Elle Magazine, Hello Magazine, Rock n Roll Bride, Rock My Wedding and Looks Like Film. I've been recognised as being one of the world's best wedding photographers with Junebug Weddings and have been acknowledged as one of the UK's top 50 wedding photographers for the past five years running (GoHen)

 

I am part of an elite group of ambassadors that represent the world's number one website hosting company for photographers - Zenfolio. I support other budding photographers develop their skills through one-to-one mentoring, training sessions and presenting at industry workshops.

Meet Stefan

​

With over fifteen years of work experience in the media industry, I am a passionate and versatile pilot, camera operator and creative director. I have a CAA approval to operate UAVs for ariel videography and photography, which allows me to capture stunning and unique perspectives for various projects.

I am also the creative director of two companies where I oversee the production of high quality and engaging content for different clients and audiences. I have won multiple international awards for my wedding cinematography, which showcases my artistic vision and storytelling skills. My mission is simple, to create and deliver captivating and meaningful stories that inspire, inform and entertain.

When I'm not behind a camera lens you'll find me up a mountain somewhere with my wolf Rufus or at a match supporting my beloved Manchester FC.
